What methods of payment may I use to pay for my FedEx Express or FedEx Ground shipments?

If shipments are billed to your FedEx account, you can pay for all FedEx Express and FedEx Ground services by:

 

  • Cheque (including cashier's cheques)
  • Money order
  • Credit card (MasterCard®, VISA®, American Express®, Diners Club®) payments are applied only to accounts linked to a credit card.


Payment in cash is available at designated FedEx locations. At locations where cash is not accepted, you may pay by cheque, credit card, or charge to a valid FedEx account number in good standing.

Can I link my account to my credit card?

Yes. If you currently receive invoices, and want to link your account to a credit card, please call 1.800.GoFedEx. All your shipping charges will automatically appear on your credit card statement.

All accounts that are opened online at fedex.ca are automatically linked to a credit card. All credit card linked accounts have access to Activity Records from FedEx with detail shipment information if registered for FedEx Billing Online (FBO). How do I file a loss/damage claim for a FedEx Express shipment that arrived but was damaged?

All claims for damage or delay must be submitted in writing within 21 days after we deliver your shipment. Claims due to loss, shortage, mis-delivery, or non-delivery must be submitted in writing within 9 months after we accept the shipment for carriage.

You may also download the PDF claim form for submiting your FedEx Express claims in wiritng. If yo telephone Customer Service at 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 to report your claim, but you must still provide written notice of your claim within the above-stated timeframe. You must also submit relevant documentation to support your claim within 9 months of notifying us.

How do I file a loss/damage claim for a FedEx Ground shipment that arrived, but was damaged?

Claims in connection with requests for FedEx Ground COD service and claims for loss must be filed in writing with FedEx Ground within nine (9) months of delivery or, in the event that FedEx Ground failed to make delivery, within nine (9) months of the date that the package was tendered to FedEx Ground for shipment. All claims for damage or delay must be submitted in writing within 21 days after we deliver your shipment.

Yes. If your FedEx Express package is delivered even 60 seconds later than we promise, we provide a Money-Back Guarantee (some restrictions apply). Does FedEx Ground offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes. If your FedEx Ground package isn’t delivered by midnight on the scheduled delivery day, you’ll get your money-back (some restrictions apply). The FedEx Ground Money-Back Guarantee applies only to deliveries to business addresses within Canadaand does not apply to international shipments.
