Fuel surcharges

U.S. fuel surcharges

Fuel surcharge is subject to weekly adjustment.

The fuel surcharge for FedEx Ground®, FedEx Home Delivery®, FedEx International Ground®, FedEx LTL freight services, and pickup services is based on the weekly published national U.S. on-highway average price for a gallon of diesel fuel.*

The fuel surcharge for all other services is based on the weekly published U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) spot price for a gallon of kerosene-type jet fuel.*

Effective Dec. 1, 2025

In order to manage the temporary reduction in fleet capacity while MD-11 safety reviews are underway, we are flexing our integrated air-ground network to provide continued connectivity. FedEx will adjust the fuel surcharges and update the tables for domestic package and express freight services and FedEx International Ground shipments. See the fuel surcharge tables effective Dec. 1, 2025.

*Notwithstanding any information provided herein, the customer agreement is the final authority for all matters related to the customer’s fuel surcharge calculation and the frequency of the calculation adjustment.
