How can I prevent packages from being stolen?
The simple answer is to plan ahead. Here are some options:
- Redirect your package to a nearby retail location (like Walgreens, Dollar General, or a grocery store). We’ll notify you when it’s ready and hold it for up to 7 days.
- Tell your driver where to place your package. We can leave it in a certain spot, or under or behind something. Wherever you think is safest. And we’ll do it for all your deliveries. You don’t have to make the request for every shipment.
- Put a temporary hold on your packages for up to 2 weeks. This is a great idea if you plan to be on vacation or traveling for business.
