What you need to know.

- Do you have any 24/7 options? With FedEx SameDay® service, you can ship on Christmas Day or any other day of the year. It's available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for your urgent shipments.

Supply order deliveries (envelopes, boxes, tubes, airbills, etc.) may be delayed for customers and FedEx locations during Thanksgiving week and the three weeks before and during Christmas. If you have an extreme shipping supply emergency during these weeks, please contact your nearest staffed FedEx Express® location.1
2016 Holiday Service Schedule
1Early station, on-call pickups and drop box closings in some areas. On Saturday, December 24, and Saturday, December 31, FedEx Express will make regular pickups and only on-call pickups that have been scheduled on or by the preceding Friday, respectively. Shipments picked up on either of those two Saturdays will not be moved in transit until the following Tuesday. Delivery commitment dates for the shipments picked up on those two Saturdays are as follows: FedEx First Overnight®, FedEx First Overnight® Freight, FedEx Priority Overnight®, FedEx 1Day® Freight and FedEx Standard Overnight® will have a Wednesday delivery commitment date; FedEx 2Day®, FedEx 2Day® Freight and FedEx 2Day® A.M. will have a Thursday delivery commitment date; and FedEx Express Saver® and FedEx 3Day® Freight will have a Friday delivery commitment date.
2FedEx Ground will make normal deliveries, but no pickups.
3FedEx SmartPost will make normal deliveries, but no pickups.
4On December 23 FedEx Freight will be open with only prearranged pickup and delivery shipments being made. Freight shipments picked up on December 23 will resume on December 27. For example, a one-day shipment picked up on December 23 will resume on December 27 and deliver on December 28.
5All FedEx Office locations will close by 6 p.m. Please contact your local FedEx Office location for information. FedEx SameDay City Priority Service will be available on November 24, December 24, December 25, and December 31.
6Customs clearance at U.S.-Canada land-border crossings is available 24 hours a day, every day via FedEx Trade Networks. Check with your FedEx Trade Networks representative to confirm for U.S.-Mexico land-border crossings.
Note: FedEx Freight charges a redelivery fee when a FedEx Freight delivery attempt is made but is unsuccessful due to a customer closure of which FedEx Freight was not previously notified, subject to the terms and conditions of the FXF 100 Series Rules Tariff.
Note: When scheduling a FedEx Freight shipment on or around a holiday, including holidays not listed above (e.g., Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Mardi Gras, Veterans Day), contact your local freight service center at 1.866.393.4585 for the most up-to-date information.
Note: FedEx SmartPost will not be delivering on U.S. federal holidays when the USPS is not making deliveries.
