U.S. money-back guarantee policy

Effective Feb. 11, 2025: The money-back guarantee has been reinstated for U.S. import shipments

The money-back guarantee was suspended for U.S. import shipments with a ship date between Jan. 29, 2025, and Feb. 10, 2025, for the following FedEx services:

  • FedEx International First®
  • FedEx International Priority®
  • FedEx International Priority® Express
  • FedEx International Priority® Freight
  • FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution®
  • FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® Freight

The money-back guarantee has been reinstated for U.S. import shipments with a ship date of Feb. 11, 2025, or later.

The U.S. domestic and U.S. import and export services eligible for the money-back guarantee now include the following services for U.S. payers only

  • FedEx First Overnight®
  • FedEx Priority Overnight®
  • FedEx Standard Overnight®
  • FedEx 2Day® A.M.
  • FedEx First Overnight Extra Hours*
  • FedEx Priority Overnight Extra Hours*
  • FedEx Standard Overnight Extra Hours*
  • FedEx International First® 
  • FedEx International Priority® 
  • FedEx International Priority® Express 
  • FedEx International Priority® Freight 
  • FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® 
  • FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® Freight

Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Service Guide, shipments delayed due to regulatory changes are not eligible for a refund or credit under the money-back guarantee policy.

As previously communicated, the money-back guarantee for all other U.S. and international package and freight services, FedEx Freight®, and FedEx Office® services remains suspended. The status of the money-back guarantee for these FedEx® services and additional FedEx services worldwide is being evaluated on an ongoing basis, and our focus remains on continuing to provide the best possible service to our customers during this period of uncertainty.

Holiday delivery commitment times

Effective Nov. 28, 2025

We stand behind the FedEx Money-Back Guarantee as we prepare to deliver for you this holiday season. To accommodate the expected seasonal volume, A.M. delivery commitment times at 12 p.m. or earlier will be extended 90 minutes on Nov. 28, 2025–Jan. 3, 2026, for the following time-definite FedEx services:

U.S. Domestic

  • FedEx First Overnight®
  • FedEx Priority Overnight®
  • FedEx 2Day® A.M.
  • FedEx First Overnight® Extra Hours
  • FedEx Priority Overnight® Extra Hours
  • FedEx 1Day®  Freight*

U.S. Inbound International

  • FedEx International First®
  • FedEx International Priority®
  • FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® 
  • FedEx International Priority® Express

Note: Printed labels will not reflect the extended time.

* FedEx 1Day®  Freight will be extended 90 minutes for delivery commitment times of 10:30 a.m. or earlier.
