Keeping costs low
By utilizing the United States Postal Service® (USPS) for final delivery, FedEx SmartPost reaches every U.S. address, including P.O. boxes and military APO and FPO destinations, as well as Alaska, Hawaii and all U.S. territories. Plus, FedEx SmartPost offers standard Saturday delivery, without residential or Saturday delivery surcharges.

Saturday delivery, which is also standard for FedEx Home Delivery, "is a nice surprise for our customers, who aren’t expecting deliveries on Saturday," says Eisenman.

Today, ships approximately 60 percent of its shipments via FedEx SmartPost and FedEx Home Delivery.
