Signing up for FedEx Delivery Manager®
From the top fedex.com menu, click on Tracking and select Manage Your Delivery. Click on the SIGN UP NOW button located on the FedEx Delivery Manager page.

Enter the Contact and Login information in the following screen, check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions and then click the Continue button.

You will receive an email stating "Your fedex.com registration is complete." This is just a confirmation that the User ID has been successfully created. You need to complete additional steps to enroll in FedEx Delivery Manager.
You will now have up to three different authentication methods to complete your enrollment. You may not be eligible to use the SMS PIN method. If you do not see this option when registering, it means you are not currently eligible.

Activate with text message
If you are eligible for text authentication, this method allows you to authenticate your address on FedEx Delivery Manager by receiving a PIN via SMS text. Select and click on the Send Code button. Keep in mind the PIN code will only be valid for 10 minutes.

If you do not wish to receive a PIN via SMS text, you can select another option by clicking on the View other options link.
The SMS PIN will be sent to your mobile phone. Once you receive the PIN via text, you will need to enter the PIN code and click on the OK button. The PIN code is only valid for 10 minutes.

- If the SMS PIN has expired or you enter an invalid PIN, the message below will display.
"The activation code you entered is either entered incorrectly or expired. Please try again or request another code."
- The message below will display if you request more than 3 SMS PINs for the same address.
"Unfortunately, you have exceeded your attempts for verification. Please try again later."
- If FedEx systems are down, the message below may display. You will need to try again later.
"We are unable to process your request at this moment. Please try again later or contact FedEx Customer Service."
Mail activation code
This method allows you to authenticate your address on FedEx Delivery Manager by receiving a PIN via postcard sent to the mailing address where you want to be authenticated. First, click on the Mailed activation code radio button.

The page will expand as shown below. Verify that the address listed is correct. If it is correct, click on the Send code button. If it is not correct, click on the Correct this address link under ‘Your residential address.’ Do not hit the browser back button.

After clicking Send code, you will see the notification “Your activation code is on the way.” It can take up to five business days to receive the postcard. If you have not received the postcard within 10 days, you can request another PIN.
Once you receive the postcard, you will follow the instructions on the postcard to complete the enrollment. The instructions will point you to a given URL on fedex.com. Enter the PIN number printed on the postcard. Click on the Activate button.

- If for some reason the PIN is invalid, the message below will display on the screen.
"Unfortunately, you have entered an invalid PIN. Please try again."
- If you continue to see this message, you will need to request a new PIN by clicking on the Request another code link. The message below will display after three authentication failures for a postcard PIN.
"Unfortunately, you have exceeded your attempts for postcard delivery. Please attempt another verification method."
If this occurs, you can select another method to authenticate (if available) by clicking on the ‘Would you prefer another method to verify your identity’ link.
If the PIN has expired, you requested another PIN and the one entered is no longer valid, or you requested a PIN using a different fedex.com ID, you will see the message below.
"We regret the inconvenience, but we were unable to find a valid mailed activation code for you. Please request another mailed activation code or try another verification method."
Answer questions to activate
This method allows you to authenticate your address on FedEx Delivery Manager by answering questions that are related in some way to you. These could be questions about your spouse, relative, or someone that has lived with you. Select the Questions radio button and the screen below will display. Click the Start button to begin the exam (if available).

The page will expand, displaying the first set of questions. You will need to answer the questions and then click the Continue button. If more information is needed to validate the registration, you will see the screen below. You can try again and a new set of questions will be provided. Or you can choose to use the Mailed activation code option at this time.

If we are unable to verify you with the information provided, you will not be presented with any authentication options. This is functioning as designed. You will continue to see the following error message until we have enough information to verify you.
"The information you provided cannot be verified at this time. It is recommended you wait a minimum of 30 days and try again. We regret the inconvenience."
