FedEx is one of the first international carriers to provide picture proof of delivery without requiring an account or log in for U.S. and Canadian residential shipments released without a signature. All you need to do is track your shipment or enable tracking alerts.

Picture proof of delivery

You and your customers can see a picture of the delivery when it’s left at the door. It’s available for FedEx residential deliveries that don’t require a signature.*

GPS proof of delivery

FedEx account holders can access a static map and GPS coordinates showing the location where their customers' FedEx residential package was marked as delivered.**


Steps to view picture and GPS proof of delivery

To view picture proof of delivery (if available):

  1. Visit the FedEx tracking page and enter your tracking number
  2. View the picture proof of your final delivery online.


To view GPS proof of delivery:

  1. Log in to your account using the FedEx User ID and password associated with the shipment.
  2. Visit the FedEx tracking page and enter your tracking number.
  3. Click on “GPS delivery location” under delivery status to see a static map view and GPS coordinates of where the shipment was delivered.

To view picture and GPS proof of delivery:

  1. Log in using your FedEx User ID and password.
  2. Select a tracking number to view the picture proof of your final delivery.
  3. Select ‘Edit Columns’ and add the ‘GPS Delivery Location’ column to your shipment list. You’ll see a clickable icon for each shipment that has GPS proof of delivery available.
  4. Click the location pin icon in the “GPS delivery location” column to see a static map view and GPS coordinates of where the shipment was marked as delivered.
