Getting Started with FedEx Electronic Trade Documents

Before you start shipping with FedEx Electronic Trade Documents, you should prepare your company letterhead and image files, as well as organize where you will store any of your own customs documents, for easy access when you ship. Review our ETD preparation checklist to ensure you’re ready to go!

FedEx Electronic Trade Documents must be enabled before customs documents can be submitted electronically. Select the FedEx electronic shipping solution you use for your international shipments, or the solution that best meets your needs.

Get started in just three easy steps:


Login 

Step 1: Log in to FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.ca and click on Preferences above Billing Details section.

Enable 

Step 2: In the International Preferences section, check the box "Enable Electronic Trade Documents". If you agree to the terms and conditions, click ‘I agree’.

Save 

Step 3: Click save changes, and you're done!
