Dimensional WeightÂ
To determine whether the dimensional weight applies, multiply the length by width by height of each package. Dimensional weight for intra-Canada and international packages is calculated by multiplying the length by width by height of each package in inches and dividing by 139 cubic inches per pound (if multiplied in centimetres, divide by 5,000 cubic centimetres per kilogram). If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges may be assessed based on the dimensional weight. FedEx reserves the right to modify or amend the Dimensional Weight standard without notice.Â
Please note that the dimensional weight for FedEx® International Deferred Freight service is calculated by multiplying the length by width by height of each package in inches and dividing by 166 cubic inches per pound (if multiplied in centimetres, divide by 6,000 cubic centimetres per kilogram).

Dimensional WeightÂ
To determine whether the dimensional weight applies, multiply the length by width by height of each package. Dimensional weight for intra-Canada and U.S.-bound packages is calculated by multiplying the length by width by height of each package in inches and dividing by 139 cubic inches per pound (if multiplied in centimetres, divide by 5,000 cubic centimetres per kilogram). If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges may be assessed based on the dimensional weight. If the dimensional weight exceeds 150 pounds (68 kilograms), then the prorated per-pound rate will be used. FedEx reserves the right to modify or amend the Dimensional Weight standard without notice.
