Top tips for FedEx® Claims Online
| Be prepared. To submit a claim online, you must enter your tracking number and ship date. Remember to have these on hand when you’re ready to file a claim. |
Upgrade for advanced options. If you haven’t already, you can upgrade to the advanced version of FedEx® Claims Online. It lets you view claim status and reports, as well as make claim payments by electronic funds transfer. Best of all, it’s free. Just click the banner you see on the left-hand side once you log in. |

| Attach supporting documents. If you want to submit documentation to support your claim (such as proof of value), just click Attach Additional Supporting Documents in the left-hand navigation. Please note you must submit the claim first, then attach the documents as a second step. (You’ll also need your tracking number and ship date to attach documents.) |
File within 60 days. Remember, you must submit a damage claim within 60 days of the shipping date (21 days for international packages). If there’s a problem, it’s best to address it immediately. |

You can now file online claims for the following types of FedEx Express® and FedEx Ground® shipments: U.S. domestic, U.S. to other countries, and Canada to U.S.
