Hold at Location is a convenient option that makes it easy for shoppers to pick up their package at a growing number of participating retail locations. With thousands of locations across the U.S., customers have more opportunities than ever to get their packages on their schedule.

Which shipments are eligible for Hold at Location?

FedEx Ground

FedEx Ground® shipments arrive in 1 to 5 business days (Monday through Friday) within the contiguous U.S. and are normally available for pickup at FedEx Office locations and participating retailers by end of business day on the scheduled delivery day.

FedEx Express

Hold at Location available with the following FedEx Express® shipping services: Day and time available for pickup for most FedEx locations:

FedEx Priority Overnight® Saturday delivery available

By 9 or 9:30 a.m. the next business day (Monday through Friday)

FedEx Standard Overnight®

By noon the next business day (Monday through Friday)

FedEx 2Day® A.M. Saturday delivery available

By 9 or 9:30 a.m. on the scheduled day of delivery (Monday through Friday)

FedEx 2Day® Saturday delivery available

By noon on the scheduled day of delivery (Monday through Friday)

FedEx Express Saver®

By noon on the scheduled day of delivery (Monday through Friday)

FedEx 1Day® Freight

By 9 or 9:30 a.m. the next business day (Monday through Friday)

FedEx 2Day® Freight

By noon on the scheduled day of delivery (Monday through Friday)

We’ve expanded Hold at Location to make picking up shipments as easy as possible. Customers can receive packages at FedEx Office®, FedEx Ship Center®, and FedEx Authorized ShipCenter® locations, as well as select locations of these stores:

Change to a retail location during transit with Redirect to Hold

Even if a customer has finished checkout, you can provide them the option to hold a package at a retail location. Our Redirect to Hold option enables customers to request to change their shipment’s destination to a nearby retail location — right from your website.
