How We Move Your Mail

How We Move Your Mail

Mailing printed materials and low-value dutiable couldn't be easier:
1. Put your international mail items in a FedEx International MailService® bag or box. You can also use your own packaging. That's all you have to do. We do the rest.
2. Your FedEx courier picks it up.
3. FedEx delivers your mail items to a FedEx mail sorting facility.
4. The postal agency sorts, stamps and transports your mail directly to the appropriate foreign postal authorities.
5. The foreign postal authorities deliver your mail.

Please note: Delivery is made by local postal service and is beyond the direct control of FedEx.

How long will it take? See our transit time report.

Postal Agencies

FedEx International MailService® chooses postal agencies carefully. In order to offer the highest quality international postal services to FedEx International MailService® clients, we have aligned with the best foreign postal providers. These partners meet FedEx's strict requirements and match FedEx's standards and image.

Our primary provider of postal services and international distribution services is the Swedish national postal service, Posten AB. In fact, since 2002 Posten has been identified by the International Postal Corporation as the highest quality postal provider available. Posten was one of the first postal administrations to be liberalized and privatized, and has been active in an openly competitive market since 1994.
